Mr Vamsi Velchuru

Mr Vamsi Velchuru is a highly experienced and skilled consultant general, laparoscopic, and colorectal surgeon who specialises in colorectal surgery, emergency surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, fistula surgery, haemorrhoids, proctology, as well as gastrointestinal endoscopy. He currently privately practises at Hoveton Surgi Centre within Hoveton Dental Clinic and at the East Point Consulting Rooms, which is based at and part of the Great Yarmouth-based James Paget University Hospital.
Mr Velchuru, who has gained an extensive amount of experience in clinical research, medical education, as well as clinical supervision thus far in his impressive professional medical career, is also the current quality improvement lead and foundation year programme director at the James Paget University Hospital. Not only that, but he is also the medical school lead at Norwich Medical School.
In terms of education, Mr Velchuru qualified from the prestigious JJM Medical College in 1992 with an MBBS, before being granted a fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery at the world-renowned UIC Medical Centre in Chicago, which he successfully completed in 2012. He was a SAS tutor at the James Paget University Hospital from 2014 and 2019, and was appointed as consultant general, laparoscopic, and colorectal surgeon at said hospital in 2017.
Louise began her dentistry career 11 years ago at Hoveton Dental Practice as a trainee dental nurse. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2013, later transitioned to more of an admin/reception role and is now our practice manager
Sally has been in dentistry for 20 years. Sally's original background was in hospitality.
Sharon started as a 'baby' dental nurse at the age of 16 in 1987.
Lynsey began her Dental nursing career in 1996 as a trainee dental nurse. She gained the National Diploma Certificate for Dental Nurse 1998.
Stine is our dental hygienist.
Stine graduated from Aarhus University Denmark in 2018 as a dental hygienist.
Kerrie began her Dental Nursing Career when she qualified in 2007, with further determination went to study and qualify in Dental Radiology in 2008, among many other courses available.
Dr Haritha Penninti, is the owner & a qualified dentist, with work experience in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth Hospitals in Oral, Maxillofacial surgery and Dentistry.
